My Experience at Taytay Tiangge: Shopping, Schedule, Tips!

If you guys ever wonder, I love shopping so much and that includes my love for clothes and fashion! Who wouldn't love shopping new and fresh clothes for you to wear on different, various occasions? So now, I will share my experience in Taytay Tiangge, some tips and things to expect!

Taytay, Rizal is the Garments Capital of the Philippines. You could really expect tons of great and trendy clothes there with good deals! Taytay tiangge haul videos have been trending in YouTube lately so I've decided to go there with my family and see for myself since I really really love clothes. Since I'm a youtuber, I wanted to do my own Taytay Haul video too! Before all of those trendy haul videos on YouTube, my tita told me that she went to Taytay, once, to check out some clothes and she was able to get a ton! She shared her experience with us and we were really convinced to go, especially me, knowing that there were many kinds of clothes! They even sell BRANDED OVERUNS! She also told us that it was a night market with many different stalls inside.

Since I love watching clothing haul videos, I almost watched every single Taytay tiangge haul on youtube so I could get some tips and a few bits of information such as the schedule there. I searched up their schedule on the internet and found this:

Taytay Tiangge is extremely huge and it has about 4 different sections. They are BAGPI, MySeoul, IGPAI, Taytay Municipal, and more! My family and I went on a rainy, monday night on May 14, 2018. It was my first time to go to Taytay Tiangge. I hopped in our car immediately for I didn't want to be late and I was just really motivated. It was really unexpected because we left the house at about 9:00 pm and arrived there at around 10:00 pm. It took us about an hour just to get there since we came from Manila to Taytay, Rizal. Once we arrived there, I was really excited to get out of our car right away because I saw a lot of clothes, shoes, bags and more on our way to the parking lot. We parked at a huge parking lot but it was filled with a lot of cars. There was a parking fee and it costs Php. 40.00, but no need to fret, because it's worth it in the end! I was really astonished that a few stalls were still open and that there were still a bunch of people buying clothes. The first section we set foot in was the "Municipal tiangge" because it was the nearest one to the parking lot that was still open. The first thing I saw were shirts with stripes! I was very captivated by the off shoulders, which are my faves because I love to wear them! I also saw some denim skirts and shorts. There were some shirts or outfits for men too, and all sorts for both men and women! The first thing we bought were my tops and a denim skirt. I bought some striped tops that were in a great deal! The seller told us that it was just 3 for Php105.00. Don't forget to bargain because they also give good deals when you shop for whole sale (whole sale usually comes in 3 there.)  That night, we also got my brother some polo shirts. We only got a few items since they were about to close. The next stall we entered was Bagpi, the most famous stall in Taytay tiangge! It was a huge building with different sections too! You could even get lost inside!(HAHAHA just kidding.) The people there are really friendly and kind. They were about to close, so I hurried and ran to the first thing I saw, which were, CROPPED SWEATERS! Can we just talk about how trendy and amazing cropped sweaters are! You could wear them when you go out and you could even put it over while wearing your school uniform! Cropped sweaters and hoodies have a special place in my heart so I got two! One in blue and one in white. I really wanted to get a pink one, since it's my favorite color, but unfortunately they ran out of stock. I was really sad but that didn't turn me down! I searched for more clothes and I found some more striped crop tops. I was really thankful and beyond blessed for all the clothes that I bought that day because it was not only beautiful and unique, but everything was worth it in the end! We ended up shopping for about two hours since they were already closing once we got there but atleast we were able to catch up and pick up a few stuff! (We didn't have enough time to see all the stalls and to hoard for cheap clothes! Too bad!) I didn't get to take pictures because It was really dark and late during that time. It was 12 midnight already and we got home at 1:00 am. We were able to spend about Php 1500.00 and brought home more than 10 pieces of clothing! Anyways, it was a long and tiring day but nevertheless fun and fulfilling. My family and I also went there for the second time on May 17, 2018. I wanted to get more clothes so we got some hoodies, shirts, shorts, overalls and more! We went there during the afternoon, a lot more earlier than last time. This time, there were plenty of stalls open and we were able to enter all of them! We saw great deals and the same clothes from different stalls but with different prices so make sure to explore the whole place first and remember the stall with the cheapest prices. After that, we spent Php 1000.00 but it was definitely worth it for we got so many clothes! It was another amazing and incredible day! Again, I'm very thankful and blessed.

HERE ARE SOME TIPS BEFORE GOING TO TAYTAY TIANGGE:

1. Always remember to bring an eco bag to reduce the use of plastic that can harm our mother earth and our environment. Bringing it will not only save our environment, but it will also cause less hassle or trouble to you while shopping because their plastic bags are super thin. You don't want to bring tons of plastic bags while walking through Taytay and when you buy clothes there, don't let them be in their plastic bags anymore. Just put them all in your eco bag. You can even help make a small difference in the world.

2. Wear cool and comfortable clothes that are simple because it's extremely hot there, knowing that there's also a lot of people.

3. Bring loose change or small bills so that it wouldn't be difficult to buy a top that costs Php 30.00 when you have Php 1000.00.

4. Bring your own water, towel and other necessary things.

5. Before you buy something, always check if there are any damages or missing buttons.

6. I urge you guys to bargain or haggle before buying any clothing there. When I was going to buy some shirts there, the guy selling it told me that it's just 3 for Php 105.00 instead and that's okay rather than buying each for Php 45.00

I hope these tips would help you guys if ever you're going to Taytay Tiangge.
